Welcome Ron Artest!

If you haven't realize it buy now........ I'll tell you straight out, I'm a true go hard Lakers fan! If you cut me anywhere I will bleed purple and gold. The showtime Lakers are the team which caused me to fall in love with basketball. Magic on the break, Worthy and Scott in the wings? Score! It doesn't get any better than that. I was hooked.

So lets get to the subject at hand, Mr. Ron Artest. First Ron Ron welcome to the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers. With the lost of Ariza (he was so stupid and overly sensitive this is a business) Artest if definitely an upgrade. Ariza was excellent at playing the passing lanes, but Artest is a better on-ball defender. Now Kobe Bryant doesn't have to guard the Paul Peirce, Carmelo Anthony, Lebron James of the league. Which gives Mr. Should have been MVP more rest on the defense in. And allow him to roam a bit more.

Even though excited there are some questions and a little bit of fear in the back of my mind about Ron Artest. Even though he has been on his best behavior the past couple of seasons the fact that he said that the lakers need to be "hoodalized" down right frightens me! Did this guy really learn his lesson in Indiana? Will he relapse? If he does something stupid and gets suspended for the rest of the season, we really will be missing Ariza!

I'm a firm believer that everybody deserves a second chance but not a 3rd or a 4th. Ron Artest focus on defense. Not on being "hood" or being a rapper or being a Thug. Its alright representing where your from. Just keep the "Queens bridge thuggish stuff" off the court please.

Does Lebron deserve to be our MVP?

Now I understand your a little hurt and disappointed that you didn't win the series and your going home. Perfectly understandable the fact that you don't want to congratulate the other team after the game. I wouldn't want to either, but not coming out for the press conference after the fame is unforgivable. Not only are the teams leader, but your the MVP of the entire league. If you haven't figure out who I'm talking about, I'm talking about Lebron James. Or King James. I'm a Lebron James fan not a hater but there are certain things you do and don't do. Just a little around two months ago this guy was at his old high school with his TEAMMATES accepting his MVP award. Thanking everyone and smiling really showing everyone how a humble good leader is suppose to be.

Adversity really gauges us as people. How we handle winning and losing is a testament to our character. And King James showed poor judgement in not coming out for the press conference. It spoke to us about his sportsmanship, but it spoke volumes to his teammates. In his actions he was conveying that "I'm with you as long as we're winning but, if we loose.......you're on your own!" Don't get me wrong, Lebron is not a bad person. He just showed that the King James is not quite ready to rule the kingdom. And not yet deserving to be the league's MVP.

Not Kobe and Lebron but its Kobe and Dwight!

Instead Kobe and Lebron, its Kobe and Dwight! Often time we (meaning the public and the media), often want the "favorites" in big games such as the Super Bowl and the NBA finals. And most of us living in that fantasy world forget that the games actually have to be played out. That is why instead of having the Kobe and the Lebron match up, we have the Kobe and Dwight match up. Even though I'm a big Laker fan, big kudos go to the Orlando Magic for making it to the NBA finals. Nobody except maybe Orlando Magic fans gave them a snowball chance in hell to making it this far. Now don't get me wrong we all know that the Orlando Magic where pretty good this year, they even beat my precious Lakers both times this year, but did any of us outside of Orlando thought they would make this far? I mean we're talking about the defending NBA champions Boston Celtics (whom I hate). Yeah before you say it, I'll say it minus Kevin Garnett. Despite not having Kevin Garnett, Boston was still a solid team this year. Oh yeah then theres your majesty himself, King Lebron James. Everybody including myself penciled this guy in since the beginning of the season. But, you have to play the game! King Lebron and the Cavaliers is still a piece or two away from having a championship team. And good luck trying to resign him. the New York Knicks are practically making his jersey now! LOL Just remember this game has star power but is about X's and O's, and not one Individual has won a NBA championship including Michael Jordan. This is a team sport that is what makes it so beautiful.

Looks like it might not be Kobe and Lebron. I mean Lebron one tonight but, he has an uphill mountain to climb. It could easily be the Denver Nuggets vs. the Orlando Magic in the finals. The Magic are playing go tough basketball, and despite their lost tonight, go home feeling confident that they can close the Cleveland Cavaliers at home on Saturday night.

Kobe or Lebron? Going to NBA Finals?

Kobe and the Lebron, the big money fight. Is this good for the league? Are we looking past Orlando Magic or the Denver Nuggets? Is this fair to them? We would still watch the NBA Finals right? How about a Magic vs. Bird like match-up? Can even we even classify to them? A lot of questions, we need your answers.
